During times of "gathering clouds and raging storms," there are days, significant days, that spark the flames of hope.

Like Today.
I began weeping salty tears of joy as Aretha Franklin stepped up to the mic. My tears did not subside until Reverend Lowery spoke the tributary words "[we will] continue to pray...for that day when black will not be asked to get back, brown can stick around, yellow will be mellow, the red man can get ahead, man, and white will embrace what is right! Amen!"
I hope that, in Reverend Lowery's words, we WILL learn to "turn TO each other and not ON each other."
Amen, man!
